Richland Royals Claim District Crown with 8-2 Win Over Birdville

At 26-2, Richland entered Tuesday night as the team to beat—and they proved it. Aly Flores and Mia Berain drove in early runs as the Royals built a 4-0 lead through five innings against Birdville.

Avery Rodriguez's two-run hit cut the deficit to 4-2 for the Hawks, but Richland responded with a four-run seventh, capped by Maty Quick's RBI double. The 8-2 victory clinches the district title for the Royals.
