Defending state champion Grandview rolls to its 18th straight win with a 14-0 shutout over Rice, highlighted by a KJ Hubbard grand slam and dominant pitching.
Eighteen consecutive wins and counting. The defending state champion Grandview Zebras blitzed Rice 14-0 on Monday behind a dominant two-way performance from KJ Hubbard, who delivered key strikeouts in the circle before sealing the blowout with a grand slam.
Texas commit Madi Doty added a standup double, while Sydney Mann's early two-run hit helped the Zebras establish control. Grandview remains a top contender in the 4A ranks.
