From 8 non-district losses to 9-0 in district play—Frisco Emerson's turnaround continued with an 8-3 win over Frisco. Gianna Lipsky's RBI triple in the first and Savannah Carlton's RBI single in the third gave the Lady Mavericks an early cushion.
Ellie Thurman's RBI triple highlighted a four-run fifth inning. Frisco's Abree Thompson answered with a towering home run to center, but Emerson's lead was too large. The Lady Mavericks stay perfect in district.
