Walnut Grove Secures District Title with Thrilling 38-35 Win Over Melissa

Hayes Hackney added a 66-yard touchdown pass using a deceptive pump fake that froze the secondary for Walnut Grove. Melissa's Brett Holloway matched the offensive output with four rushing touchdowns and a 48-yard scoring connection to Dalton Dababneh that kept the Cardinals within striking distance.

Coach Tommy Allison guided the Wildcats to their consecutive district championship as Newton's final touchdown proved decisive.
