Six touchdown passes from Jacob Janecek powered Lovejoy to a 66-62 shootout victory over Anna in the Whataburger Game of the Week. Janecek connected with Coleman Rico for a 48-yard score and found Zane Kosinski for a 75-yard touchdown in the high-scoring affair.
Anna mounted a spirited comeback, rattling off 21 unanswered points to threaten the Lovejoy lead. However, a late-game interception sealed the victory for Lovejoy in one of the most entertaining games of the season.
