Didn't start off so good. Warren Peck caps of a 10 play 81 yard opening drive with a 8 yard keeper. 7-0 Highland Park
Second quarter, Scots up 13-0, when the Rams special teams make a play. That's Jamary Williams on a 87 yard kickoff return for a score. Berkner's return game was exceptional as they scored twice on kickoffs and a 3rd one was called back. Berkner Alum, Aqib Talib was certainly pleased.
Highland Park's passing game wasn't used much, but when they did it was effective. Wilson Axley makes a nice catch between 2 defenders that would lead to a short touchdown.
Then late in the half, watch this catch by Parker Thompson as his defender is trying everything to break it up, but Thompson still makes the sensational catch.
That led to a Keller Holmes 2 yard touchdown run. We have a 3 way tie atop 7-6A as Highland Park defeats Berkner 28-13
