Tyler Scarborough was masterful—six innings, 11 strikeouts, one hit allowed—as Lovejoy shut out Walnut Grove 5-0. TCU commit Logan Corley's second-inning RBI single staked the Leopards to an early lead.

Both teams flashed leather: Lovejoy turned a key double play in the fourth, and Walnut Grove's Joshua Viars made a diving stop in the fifth. But Lucas Smith's three-run homer over the left-field wall removed all doubt.
