8th ranked Lone Star has won 17 games in around behind super sophomore Trent Perry.
Perry, like always, was on a mission to rough up rims...and he did that early here for 2 of his 13 points.
But Trent is a giver as well....such as giving sweet alley oops to his good buddy, David Oriaku (Ori-ah-COO) for the one hander
and no, this isn't a replay, Perry just knows where Oriaku likes his "oops". Lone Star up 19-14 after a quarter.
Second quarter, Dakari Spear found his spot in the corner for the 3 pointer....and here comes the Cougars.
Then Bryce Dixon, spins on one defender, loses another and connects on the jumper. The Colony only down 1 at the break.
3rd quarter, The Colony would take the lead when Spear drives the lane for the bucket. He scored a game high 19 points.
4 minutes to go in the 4th and The Colony down 2. Xavier Green steps way back to get off this 3 and it's nothing but net. Cougars up 1 on that huge shot.
35 seconds left, Lone Star down 2, Oriaku kicks it out to Amaru (Amar-oo) Martin for 3?!!?!?! It's good and the Rangers up a point with 31 seconds on the clock.
Time running out and Cougars down 2. Ross Ingrams gets by his defender and looks to put up the floater but Perry is there to change the shot and it hits back rim.....no good. Lone Star leaves with the 61-59 road victory
