Euless Trinity Defeats Hebron 10-4 in 6A Regional Semifinal Game 1
A six-run first inning set the tone as Euless Trinity defeated Hebron 10-4 in the opening game of their Class 6A regional semifinal series. The Trojans seized control early when Cooper Phillips one-hopped the wall for a double that brought Kason Kiro home, part of a commanding first-frame outburst that put the Hawks in an immediate hole.
Trailing 7-0 in the fifth inning, Hebron mounted a response. Dillon Dunn shot a ball the opposite way to right field, and Landon Bonner slid in just under the tag at home to cut the deficit to 7-3. The rally gave the Hawks momentum, but Trinity answered immediately in the bottom of the frame. John Emory laced a hit to right field that scored David Dagnino, helping the Trojans pull away for the 10-4 victory and a 1-0 series lead in the regional semifinal round.
