Ennis Baseball Edges Red Oak 3-2 in 15-5A Showdown

First place in 15-5A came down to Colt Schilling striking out the final batter to preserve a 3-2 Ennis victory over Red Oak. Schilling went the distance as the Lions claimed their fourth straight win.

Red Oak jumped ahead 2-0 in the first on Hayden McMahon's two-RBI hit. Kevin Rodriguez answered with a solo homer, then scored the tying run in the fourth on Beau Rudd's safety squeeze. Diego Mireles' fifth-inning bunt drove in the go-ahead run.
