Burleson Defeats Chisholm Trail 10-0 Behind Grisham and Brown in Game 3

The series between Burleson and Chisholm Trail came down to a decisive Game 3 in North Richland Hills, with the Elks delivering a dominant 10-0 victory to advance to face Abilene Wylie.

Burleson broke through in the second inning when Nate Green launched a ball to the wall in left-center, plating two runs. Pitcher Gage Grisham followed with a hit just inside the third base bag that scored Green, extending the lead to 3-0. Chisholm Trail avoided further damage when Aidan Gonzalez battled the sun to make a lunging catch on Landon Brown's deep fly ball.

Grisham was masterful on the mound, throwing 5 1/3 innings of shutout baseball. His shortstop, Landon Brown, provided defensive fireworks with two diving stops up the middle—one resulting in a force at second, the other in a throw to first for the out.
