Arlington Martin at Rockwall - 2019 Week 4 Football Game of the Week

Rockwall Sophomore Braedyn Locke entered the game against Arlington Martin with over 1200 yards in his first 3 games at the varsity level. Talk about creating some expectations... But he would live up to them... After Martin scores early Locke went to work here finding Jaxon Smith-Njigba across the middle for the 27 yard score. That was a common theme for the first half as Braedyn and Jaxon would connect on 4 TD's in the first half including this incredible 67 yard play. Jaxon would wouldn't be caught nor stopped as he would go off for 201 yards on the night. Martin showing no quit though, after falling behind by as much as 21 points. Zach Mundell would go to the air connecting with Cal Robinson on the 33 yard pass... that closes the gap to a single touchdown... time running out, and Martin's defense would force a punt on 4th down... and the mishandled snap would give Martin life....It wasn't to be... Zach Mundell has trouble with the snap but some how recovers...rolls out but once again looses control of the ball.... Rockwall recovers and that would be the game... 45 to 38 the final by two well coached teams...
