More than 300 wins into her coaching career, Trisha Williamson has turned Forney High School into one of the most consistent girls soccer programs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Since taking over as head coach in 2008, she has built the Lady Jackrabbits into a perennial postseason contender — and this past season may have been her best work yet.
Forney went undefeated through district play and finished the year with a 28-2 record, advancing to back-to-back state Final Four appearances and reaching the state championship game. The title ultimately slipped away on penalty kicks, but the run cemented Williamson's standing among the elite coaches in Texas high school soccer.
For her sustained success and this season's remarkable run, Trisha Williamson is our Girls Soccer Coach of the Year.
