Parish Episcopal Wins TAPPS 6A Title Over Monty Williams TMI Squad
March 4, 2026
Parish Episcopal defeats TMI Episcopal 62-48 to win the TAPPS 6A Boys Basketball State Championship. Watch highlights of the title game action.
Hudson Lucas scored 15 of his game-high 23 points in the first half as Parish Episcopal cruised to a 62-48 victory over TMI Episcopal for the TAPPS 6A Boys Basketball State Championship. Despite TMI's coaching staff featuring former NBA coach Monty Williams and Tim Duncan's support, the San Antonio squad could not contain Parish's balanced attack.
The Almuttar twins, Armon and Antoine, set an aggressive tone early with their drives to the basket. Robert Moore IV stretched the defense with his three-point shooting, while Lucas dominated both inside and from the perimeter to secure the state title.
