Freshman Joseph Creal knocked down four three-pointers in the first quarter and finished with a team-high 20 points as Mansfield Summit defeated Beaumont United 52-40 for their second consecutive 5A Division 1 state championship.

Senior Jaxon Sneed provided veteran leadership with 13 points and several tough finishes inside, while David Bardare added an athletic drive-and-score. The Jaguars' defense held firm throughout, securing the repeat title in San Antonio.
