Paradise Wins First Ever State Title in Thriller vs Palestine Westwood

Paradise defeats Palestine Westwood 52-51 to win their first 3A Division 2 state basketball championship behind Max Jordan's 29 points.
Max Jordan scored 29 points, including the go-ahead basket with 34 seconds remaining, as Paradise captured its first state championship with a 52-51 victory over Palestine Westwood in the 3A Division 2 final.
The Panthers trailed by 10 points before mounting a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback. Palestine Westwood was led by Texas Tech commit Kavian Bryant, who scored 26 points, but Jordan's late-game heroics secured the historic title for Paradise.
