Nic Codie from Newman Smith is the prototypical power forward. The 6’8 big man uses his quickness to maneuver around the basket for easy points as Codie averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds a game a year ago. Nic is the state’s highest ranked player for this year and was also his district’s MVP last season. He was having a solid season until a knee injury sidelined him for a while. Codie is heading to the University of Texas for his college ball.
