Reaching 1,000 career kills as a junior is a benchmark that puts a player in rare company, and Eaton Eagles outside hitter Lexi Martin got there on the strength of one of the most productive seasons in the program's recent history. Martin recorded 435 kills in her junior year alone before logging the milestone kill that pushed her career total into four figures.
Martin's game is built on athleticism and versatility — she has the vertical to attack from the perimeter with force, but she's equally capable of placing the ball with precision when the defense adjusts. That combination made her a key piece of the Eaton offense and a matchup problem at the net throughout the season.
Away from the high school gym, Martin helped her TAV club team win a junior national championship, adding a national title to a résumé that was already drawing attention from college programs. The Eagles standout has committed to TCU, where she'll continue her career at the Division I level in the Big 12.
