McKinney Christian Wins State Title Over Westbury Christian

Diego Landin Aguilar led the way with 20 points as McKinney Christian defeated Westbury Christian 49-31 to capture the Class 4A state championship. The Mustangs entered with a remarkable 38-1 record and played like it from the opening tip.

Leo Jiminez Soto scored 10 first-quarter points to set the tone, though the game remained tight at halftime with McKinney Christian clinging to a 24-23 lead. The Mustangs' defense then clamped down in the second half, allowing only eight points while their offense pulled away for the decisive victory and the state title.
