L.D. Bell Defeats Rival Trinity 52-33 in Final Game at Old Gym

The final game played at Trinity's current gymnasium before a new facility opens later this year ended with L.D. Bell securing a 52-33 rivalry victory. The longtime Mid-Cities rivals provided a memorable sendoff for the historic venue.

L.D. Bell jumped out to an early 10-point lead behind plays from Jesse Mikus. Trinity fought back in the second quarter with Lincoln Wright hitting a deep three-pointer to tie the game at 20. However, L.D. Bell pulled away in the second half to close the gym's competitive chapter with a win.
