Steven McLeod led all scorers with 15 points as Grand Prairie captured their sixth consecutive victory, defeating rival South Grand Prairie 66-52 on the road in District 8-6A action. The win solidified Grand Prairie's position atop the district standings.

South Grand Prairie's Jacobi Ewing provided early resistance, but Michael Boone and Felix Okam helped Grand Prairie pull away as the game progressed.
