Frisco Heritage Wins First Ever State Title: 5A D1 Championship Highlights

Bryson Howard, son of former NBA player Josh Howard, recorded 28 points and 15 rebounds as Frisco Heritage became the first Frisco ISD boys basketball team to win a state championship. The Coyotes defeated Beaumont West Brook 60-47 in the 5A Division 1 final.

SMU recruit Cam Lomax added 17 points and 5 steals, including a spectacular alley-oop assist to Howard that highlighted the first half. Frisco Heritage built a commanding 30-13 halftime lead and held off West Brook to make program history.
