Duncanville Defeats Cy Ranch 49-41 to Reach State Semifinals

Christopher Hunt Jr. scored 15 points as Duncanville opened with a 10-0 run and held on for a 49-41 victory over Houston Cy Ranch in Waco to advance to the state semifinals.

Xavion Lawson-Kennedy and Hunt fueled the early surge before Cy Ranch fought back to tie the game at 22 in the second half. Jordan Banks provided a spark in the third quarter, and Ryland Groom's corner three-pointer in the final minutes sealed the win. Duncanville will face North Crowley in the next round.
