Lancaster Girls 4x100 Relay Breaks National Record with 43.77 at Midlothian Relays
No high school girls relay team in America has ever run the 4x100 meters under 44 seconds—except Lancaster. And they've done it three times.
At the Midlothian Relays, the Lancaster girls 4x100 relay team broke their own record of 48.34 set in 2025, clocking a blistering 43.77. The performance continues a dominant start to the 2026 season for a roster loaded with Division I talent.
Lead-off leg Datavia Hunter, a UCF commit, brings power and controlled acceleration. She placed third at 6A state in the 400 meters. Lily Pierrot, committed to Vanderbilt, runs the second leg and ranks among the fastest sprinters in Texas with an 11.30 100-meter time. Milan Lathan, a Texas Tech commit, handles the toughest leg of the four—navigating the tight curve and blind handoffs with technical precision. Saniyah Miller, a University of Texas commit, anchors the relay with an aggressive finishing style honed by her strength in the 200 meters.
What separates Lancaster from the rest is the combination of raw strength, maximum velocity, curve mastery, and closing power. Hunter delivers power, Pierrot brings top-end speed, Lathan masters the curve, and Miller finishes with authority. The team expects to continue breaking records throughout the 2026 track season.
