Taylor Twins Lead Keller Central to UIL 6A 7on7 Championship Over Allen

A 26-21 win over Allen in the UIL 6A 7on7 Championship in College Station announced something loud and clear: Keller Central is building toward something real. The Chargers, who haven't made the playoffs since 2019, opened the offseason with their most significant team achievement in years — and two sophomores were at the center of it.

Isaiah and Jeremiah Taylor, twin brothers in the Class of 2028, gave Keller Central one of the most dynamic performances of the tournament. Isaiah, a 6'2, 160-pound cornerback who also lined up at quarterback for the Chargers during the 7on7 run, was named tournament MVP. His ability to play both ways adds a dimension to Keller Central's program that few teams at any classification can match. He enters the summer with 20 college offers already in hand.

Jeremiah brings a different but equally impressive profile. At 6'3 and 180 pounds, he's rated the 21st-best athlete in the state of Texas for the 2028 class and earned all-state recognition during the tournament as a cornerback and wide receiver. Together, the Taylor twins form one of the most promising young secondary tandems in the DFW area.

For a Keller Central program working to re-establish itself in a competitive UIL 6A landscape, the timing couldn't be better. With two potential all-Americans still three years from graduation, the Chargers have a legitimate cornerstone to build around — and a 7on7 championship trophy to remind everyone the rebuild is already underway.
