Prestonwood Christian Volleyball's Livings Twins Are Chasing a TAPPS Title in 2026

Ranked No. 6 in the country by MaxPreps, Prestonwood Christian Academy volleyball enters 2026 as one of the most talent-rich programs in Texas—and the nation. At the center of it all are twins Nyla and Naomi Livings, a pair of 6'2 prospects who have already earned national recognition and are committed to Louisiana State University. But before they head to Baton Rouge, they have unfinished business in TAPPS 6A.

The Lions fell short of a state title in 2025, and that loss has fueled the program's offseason. Nyla, a middle blocker, was selected to the USA Volleyball Women's Under-21 National Team—one of the most prestigious honors in the prep game—and was named 2025 TAPPS District 2-6A MVP. Her presence in the middle gives Prestonwood a defensive anchor that few opponents in any classification can match.

Naomi, an outside hitter, earned 2024 TAPPS 6A All-State Honorable Mention and was named to the MaxPreps 2024 Sophomore All-American team. Together, the Livings sisters cover two of the most critical positions on the floor, giving head coach and staff a foundation that most programs spend years trying to build.

Prestonwood Christian competes in TAPPS District 2-6A, the top classification in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, where competition is consistently strong. With a full roster of supporting talent around the Livings twins, the Lions are positioned for a deep postseason run—and a legitimate shot at the state championship that eluded them a year ago.
