In just one year at Frisco Emerson, Michael Hawkins has made quite the name for himself. Hawkins is one of the premier dual threats in North Texas and for the Mavericks, he has thrown for over 22 hundred yards and 31 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions. And when he takes off out of the pocket, Hawkins has rushed for almost 700 more yards and 7 scores. Michael has been the missing piece the Mavericks needed for a long playoff run and when Emerson’s season finally ends, Hawkins will be heading to Norman to play for the Oklahoma Sooners.
