Celina Bobcats Win 5th Straight State Championship Over Salado Eagles

Five consecutive state titles. Celina's dynasty continued with a 2-1 comeback win over Salado in Georgetown. After Lucy Johnson put the Eagles ahead in the second half off a Cassidy Lange assist, Ryleigh Stifflemire answered with a powerful equalizer.

The winning goal came off Stifflemire's cross, deflecting in off a Salado defender. Celina held on to extend the longest active championship streak in Texas high school soccer.
