The Celina Bobcats secured their fifth consecutive state championship with a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory over the Salado Eagles in Georgetown. After a scoreless first half, Salado took an early lead when Cassidy Lange set up Lucy Johnson for the opening goal. However, Celina quickly responded as Ryleigh Stifflemire battled for possession and fired a powerful shot past the goalkeeper to tie the match. The Bobcats continued to apply offensive pressure, eventually forcing an own goal off a cross from Stifflemire to take the lead. Celina held on to win the state title, cementing their high school soccer dynasty.
