Argyle WR Julian Caldwell Returns After Missing Two Games, Eyes Deep Playoff Run
Ninety-four receptions, more than 1,700 receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns — that was Julian Caldwell's junior season at Argyle, the kind of stat line that puts a wide receiver on every college radar in the state.
The Eagles pass-catcher committed to Texas Tech, giving the Red Raiders a proven playmaker from one of the more consistent programs in Class 4A. Argyle has built a reputation for deep playoff runs, and Caldwell has been a central reason why the Eagles' offense commands attention each fall.
His senior year got off to a delayed start — Caldwell missed Argyle's first two games — but he's back on the field now and focused on helping the Eagles extend their postseason tradition. With his combination of route-running and big-play ability, Caldwell figures to be one of the most closely watched receivers in the DFW area as the playoff picture takes shape.
