The Argyle Eagles made history by defeating Barbers Hill 51-42 in the UIL 5A Division II girls basketball state championship game. This victory marks Argyle's first 5A state title in any sport. The Eagles started strong, jumping out to a 13-1 lead in the first quarter thanks to sharp shooting from Wrigley Green.
