Cedar Hill outscored Duncanville 19-5 in the fourth quarter to complete a stunning 41-36 comeback victory and secure a return trip to the state semifinals. The Lady Longhorns had lost to the Pantherettes twice earlier this season before flipping the script when it mattered most.
Trailing by 11 points in the third quarter, Cedar Hill appeared headed for a third defeat. Duncanville's Janiyah Anderson and Jordan Lewis helped build the lead, but the Lady Longhorns responded with stifling defense. Jayama Anyaegbu's steal and score plus Angela Nunley's clutch corner three sealed the dramatic comeback.
