Richland made history by becoming the first team in Prosper ISD to capture a Regional title, achieving the milestone in just their first year of existence with a 60-41 victory over Panther Creek. The Class 4A Division 1 Region 2 final secured the Raiders' trip to the state tournament.
Standout sophomore Lauryn Williams showcased her defensive intensity with a crucial steal and putback, while senior Emmy Privatsky contributed 11 points. Richland broke open a tight game in the second half behind their balanced attack and suffocating defense.
