Top DFW Baseball Players: Chase Pearrow, Logan Corley, Lucas Nawrocki
Three players across the Metroplex are redefining what elite high school baseball looks like this season, each bringing a unique skill set that has their programs positioned for deep playoff runs.
Waxahachie infielder Chase Pearrow led the Metroplex with 12 home runs while posting 52 hits and 50 RBIs to go with a .565 batting average. His production has powered the Indians to their best start in program history as they chase their second state title.
Lovejoy starting pitcher Logan Corley, a TCU commit, brings a complete two-way game to the table. The southpaw batted .452 with 25 RBIs and 6 home runs while dominating on the mound with three plus pitches. He may not overpower hitters or light up the radar gun, but his pinpoint control and ability to pitch deep into games has made Lovejoy one of the favorites to win state this year.
Aledo starting pitcher Lucas Nawrocki rounds out the trio as another dangerous two-way threat. The LSU commit features an electric arm that touches the mid-nineties with an outstanding curveball, giving him the makings of a terrific college player at a historic program in Baton Rouge. He's leading Aledo's effort to return to state and recapture the championship they won in 2024.
From raw ability to competitive drive, this trio demonstrates the depth of baseball talent the Metroplex produces at the highest level.
