Lone Star WR Zach Forbish | Michigan State Commit | 2026 DFW Recruit
Forty-two catches. Eight hundred nineteen yards. Twelve touchdowns. An average of 20 yards per reception. Those numbers alone tell you what Lone Star wide receiver Zach Forbish brings to the table — but the full picture is even more compelling.
Standing 6'3" and weighing 190 pounds, Forbish is one of the more physically imposing wide receiver prospects in the DFW area. He pairs that frame with legitimate track speed, having been timed at 10.95 seconds in the 100 meters — a combination that makes him a genuine mismatch problem for opposing defensive backs at any level of classification.
Lone Star has built a reputation for producing quality wide receiver talent, and Forbish fits squarely in that tradition. His size makes him a red-zone weapon, capable of winning contested catches downfield, while his quickness after the catch adds a dynamic element that turns routine receptions into scoring threats. He's also shown a willingness to work the middle of the field, using his frame to shield defenders on the tough catches that don't always show up in highlight reels.
In June 2026, Forbish committed to Michigan State, giving the Spartans a big, explosive pass-catcher with proven production at the high school level. His physicality at the point of attack and his ability to generate explosive plays are exactly the traits that translate to the next level.
For the Rangers, the motivation heading into this season runs deeper than individual accolades. After falling short in the state finals a year ago, Forbish returns with a clear objective — and Lone Star's offense runs through him when a big play or a critical first down is on the line.
