Sukari Kinney's Reverse Layup Clinic Leads North Crowley Past Katy Jordan 49-26

July 7, 2026
Sukari Kinney's repeated reverse layups powered North Crowley to a 49-26 win over Katy Jordan at the TABC Showcase.

Finishing at the rim is a skill. Finishing at the rim repeatedly, with defenders draped on you, is something else entirely. North Crowley guard Sukari Kinney did exactly that against Katy Jordan at the TABC Showcase, turning the reverse layup into a signature statement across all four quarters.

Kinney's first highlight came off a hesitation move before driving right and converting a right-handed reverse, using the rim as a shield against the defense. It wouldn't be the last time. Off the break, she went back to the same well — attacking, drawing contact, and nailing another reverse layup as the Lady Panthers surged to a 22-7 halftime advantage.

North Crowley kept the pressure on in the second half. Kenadi McClendon established strong post position in the paint and converted inside, while Eden Johnson hit a quick-release three from the corner off an inbounds play as the Lady Panthers continued to pull away.

Kinney closed out her showcase performance with one more reverse layup — weaving through defenders before laying it in softly off the glass. North Crowley defeated Katy Jordan 49-26.
