Sophee Peterson Leads Byron Nelson to Volleyball Glory

Texas A&M commit Sophee Peterson recorded 1,477 assists as a sophomore and earned MaxPreps All-American recognition while leading Byron Nelson volleyball. The junior setter has become one of the nation's premier players at her position.

Peterson guided the Bobcats to a 14-1 record and the A68 D-2 state championship last season. She delivered 42 assists, 13 digs, and five kills in the title game victory over Strafford. With Peterson directing the offense, defending champion Byron Nelson enters the season as a strong contender to repeat.
