Richland vs Panther Creek: Raiders Win First Regional Title

The Richland Raiders faced off against the Panther Creek Panthers in the Class 4A Division 1 Region 2 final with a trip to the state tournament on the line. Led by standout sophomore Lauryn Williams and senior Emmy Privatsky, Richland broke open a tight game in the second half to secure a dominant 60-41 victory. Williams showcased her defensive intensity with a crucial steal and putback, while Privatsky contributed 11 points to the winning effort. With this historic triumph, Richland becomes the first team in Prosper ISD history to capture a Regional title, achieving the feat in just their first year of existence.
