A 12.5-yard average per carry is not a stat you see often at any level of football. For North Forney running back Cordai Woodard, it was the standard he set during the 2025 season in District 10-6A.

Woodard rushed for 1,139 yards and 11 touchdowns in his breakout campaign, combining a physical running style with 4.4 speed and sharp lateral quickness. At 5'9" and 175 pounds, he consistently turned short gains into explosive plays, earning District 10-6A Return Specialist of the Year honors after also excelling as a kickoff and punt returner.

The Falcons reached the Area round of the playoffs in 2025, and improving on that finish will depend heavily on what Woodard can do with the ball in his hands. Whether it's a designed run, a pitch-and-catch out of the backfield, or a pivotal return in a close game, his ability to change the outcome of a possession in a single play sets him apart from most backs in the state.
