The Hebron Hawks faced off against Flower Mound Marcus in a District 5-6A baseball showdown on Tuesday night. Hebron struck first in the second inning with a deep two-run home run by Brayden Pacheco to take a 2-0 lead. The Hawks offense continued to roll in the third inning, scoring three runs with help from a Dylan Dunn RBI down the left-field line. Flower Mound Marcus fought back in the bottom of the third as Ryan San Miguel delivered a two-run single to cut the deficit to 5-2. However, Hebron added insurance runs, including another RBI from Dunn in the fourth, to seal an 8-3 win.
