On Parent Appreciation night, the Frisco Wakeland Wolverines softball team delivered a spectacular performance against The Colony, securing a dominant 13-0 shutout victory. After presenting flowers and cards to their parents in the stands, the Wolverines' offense went to work. The highlight of the game was an explosive nine-run third inning. Kayla Courcy sparked the rally with a deep drive to the gap, scoring Maggie Drake. Reese Thomas and Rachel Rowland kept the momentum going with clutch RBI hits, allowing Wakeland to bat around the lineup. Maggie Drake capped off the incredible inning with an opposite-field hit to score Lauren McIllwain.
