Florida commit Kennedy Bradley leads the Melissa Lady Cardinals historic softball offense as the program chases a third consecutive Texas state championship.
Power at the plate has become a defining trait for the Melissa Lady Cardinals softball program. After shattering the national record for home runs last season, the team continues to rely on the heavy bat of third baseman Kennedy Bradley. The future SEC standout accounted for an area-record 24 of those home runs last year and shows no signs of slowing down.
Maintaining a batting average around .500 for her high school career, the Florida commit has already launched 16 home runs in just 85 at-bats this season, averaging a long ball every 5.3 trips to the plate. Her consistent offensive production remains a crucial asset as Melissa navigates a tough Texas playoff bracket in pursuit of a third consecutive state championship.
