Colleyville Heritage faced off against Aledo in a thrilling Bi-District playoff match at Eagle Mountain Stadium. Aledo struck first in the first half when junior Allyson Weimer launched a strike from 30 yards out to take a 1-0 lead. The Panthers, last season's state runners-up, responded later in the half. After a shot by Addison Atkins was deflected, freshman phenom Emma Koester found the back of the net to tie the game. Colleyville Heritage added a second goal in the second half to claim a 2-1 victory and advance to the next round of the Texas high school girls soccer playoffs.
