Few pitchers in Texas high school baseball carry the combination of size, stuff, and pedigree that Chandler Hart brings to the Allen Eagles. The 6-foot-6 left-hander, committed to Texas A&M, is ranked among the top 10 players in the state and anchors what scouts and coaches consider one of the most formidable pitching staffs in Texas.
Hart's fastball reaches into the 90s, and his imposing frame creates a downward angle that makes life difficult for hitters stepping into the box. Allen, a perennial powerhouse out of the Dallas-area, has built its program around elite talent, and Hart fits that mold as both a pitcher and a contributor at the plate.
With the UIL 6A Division I playoffs approaching, the Eagles enter as one of the favorites in the bracket. Hart's two-way ability gives Allen a significant edge — a legitimate ace capable of shutting down opposing lineups while also providing production in the lineup when he's not on the mound.
