About Hillcrest
Hillcrest High School in Dallas opened in 1938 and plays at John McClamrock Stadium, named for a former Panther player who was paralyzed during a game in 1975. The school has sent multiple players to the NFL, including Colin Allred, who later became a U.S. congressman. Notable alumni also include former White House Counsel Harriet Miers and NBA player Kurt Thomas.
