LD Bell Partners w/ 6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization Program to Lend a Helpful Hand

It was another tough season for the LD Bell Blue Raiders. However, even at 3-7, they stayed in the playoff hunt until the last two weeks. That is definitely some momentum to take to off season workouts. And on one Saturday this past month, they wanted to share some of those good feelings with others. Members of the team participated in 6 stones’ “community powered revitalization” program. Along with volunteers from the North Texas Honda Dealers, the Blue Raiders helped clean up a Hurst home owned by an elderly couple.

From cutting branches to painting and raking leaves, everyone involved did what they could to relieve the parkers of their landscaping duties. It’s the kind of community service the Bell players were glad they signed up for.

And it was a good way to bond as a team as well. It’s one thing to practice and play football games together, working together on a project like this has it’s own rewards.
