Lancaster captured its first-ever girls state basketball title with a 51-37 victory over previously undefeated Austin Westlake. MVP Mackenzie White led the Lady Tigers to the historic championship at the Alamodome.
Denton Ryan claimed back-to-back 5A titles with a defensive victory over Leander Glenn, while Argyle secured their seventh state championship by defeating Barbers Hill. Decatur won their second straight 4A crown in overtime against Waco La Vega, led by Braylon Peck's standout performance. Dallas Lincoln used intense defensive pressure to overwhelm Fredericksburg and claim their fifth state title.
