The August heat in Texas was rugged as usual so the Reedy band abandoned some of their outdoor marching practices and took to the cooler temperatures of the band room to rehearse. It’s unusual not to see the band in the parking lot, stepping to the beat, but when it reaches triple digits outside, safety is a priority.
