Flower Mound Marcus hosting Hebron as both teams began district play in 6-6A
Hebron was in control of this game for 3 quarters. And that was mainly because of their defense. Bo Onu (Oh-new) with the interception here. The Hawks would turn the Marauders over 5 times on the night and lead this one 27-10 through 3.
But they play 4 quarters and Marcus would score 17 points in that frame including this 30 yard touchdown pass from Dane Parlin to Rhett Garza and we are going to overtime tied at 27.
Marauders go first. Parlin to the corner of the end zone to Karic Grennan for the 8 yard touchdown. Marcus up 34-27.
Hebron's turn and Patrick Crayton Junior takes upon himself to make a play as he finds he way into the end zone from 6 yards out. Knock down the extra point and we're going double overtime.
But that's the thing....the extra point.....it's BLOCKED......and Marcus escapes with a 34-33 win.
