Celina's Rise to 5A: Coach Elliott & Star QB Bentley Lead the Charge

Bill Elliott has coached Celina football for over three decades, spending the last 13 years as head coach. Under his guidance, the program prepares to move to 5A after capturing its ninth state championship.

Quarterback Bowe Bentley led that title run, throwing for 3,300 yards and 47 touchdowns while rushing for nearly 1,000 yards. His dual-threat capabilities and leadership were instrumental in Celina's perfect season. Bentley recently committed to Oklahoma and impressed at the Elite 11 showcase, validating his status among the nation's top quarterback prospects.
