Alvarado at Kaufman - 2020 Week 4 Football Highlights
Class 3A game, Kaufman hosting Alvarado ... both teams 0-3 so someone's getting the "W." Kaufman opens up with an onside kick, and the Lions *easily* recover. That led to a field goal and a quick 3-0 lead. Later in the first quarter, it was Kaufman again with a short touchdown run from sophomore BRAXTON GARMON to put the Lions ahead 10-0 in the first quarter. WILLIAM LABERMEIER had a *huge* game for Alvarado, and he got a big chunk of yards on this play. Early second quarter, he broke one off for about 50 yards, but the drive ended with a turnover. But on the first play *after that turnover,* Alvarado got the ball back when the Kaufman quarterback fumbled and DEVIN BRIDGEWATER jumped on the ball and recovered. Moments later, LABERMEIER scored the first of his three touchdowns. He rushed for 229 yards and Alvarado won its first game, 20-17.
